GÜNTHER

Beate Günther was born in Leutkirch in the Allgäu in 1957.

From 1979 to 1984 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart as a master student under Professor K. R. H. Sonderborg. Günther focused on painting. Since then the artist has had numerous solo and group exhibitions worldwide, including Cologne, Berlin, Zurich, Paris and Louisville, USA.

The artist lives and works in Berlin since 1984.

Since 2018, she has also maintained a second studio in the Allgäu.
